Just like last time, the brunette had a bit of a hard time deciding whether to go to this festival or not. Also just like last time, Caden found himself being pestered by his brother to go. Unlike last time, he actually had an easier time with his decision, considering how surprisingly pleasant his last date was. Who knew, maybe he'd see Binks again this time, but as far as Caden was concerned, he had a different date... And a boy once again. Don't get him wrong, he was fine with going with a boy and all, it's just... He swung more toward females so it would be nice to get a female date. All he could do was hope was that this date would go as well as the last time and- Arceus forbid- help the boy open up a bit more to people. The boy walked with his younger brother up to the front of the beach and began to look around. Based on the description given, though, Caden couldn't seem to find his date yet as he looked around- male, pink hair, 6 feet tall, blue eyes, and named... 'Percious'? Yeah, that was it. "Do you see your date yet?" He asked Aiden.

Since early this morning Percy couldn't help but keep a smile off his face, how exciting! He'd never really been on a blind date before, much less a huge festival like this one. Now was the perfect chance to display his pristine beauty off! Scanning the surroundings and finally taking note of his date. Short dark hair, clad in blue this must be him. Approaching delicately the man flipped his pink locks into the air striking a short lasting pose for his date. "Why good day, you're Caden are you not? Its a pleasure, my name is Percy though I am sure you know already. It seems we are a date." Taking a moment to glance over Cadens clothing Percy was quite happy with his choices, feeling relieved to be paired with someone who at least had fashion sense.

Oh, he did find his date. Caden smiled a bit as Aiden met up with his own date- a girl with BRIGHT hair, like it was on fire. The brunette made sure to wave to him as he left, hoping that he would at least enjoy this night, before hearing a voice pipe up behind him. Caden turned to look at the source and just kind of... Stared upward. Right, six feet, really tall, at least compared to him which was like... Six inches taller than him at least, half a foot. He stared a bit at his long pink hair and the way he posed before him as he spoke in a chipper tone. Well... This would definitely be interesting. "...Uh, yeah that's me." He said kind of awkwardly. "You're... Percy?" That must be a nickname. Welp, if that's what he wanted to be called then Caden would comply. Dear lord, though, it was almost like this man was actually sparkling. "Well, nice to meet you then." He even did a small little bow in response. "I assume you'd like to enter the festival now? There isn't really much else to do out here, so..."

Ah Caden seemed to be the type Percy enjoyed the most, easily embarrassed that is. How fun they are to tease! "Its nice to meet you as well Caden! Might I say that you're looking dashing this evening, and I'm sure you've noticed my dazzling beauty I do hope that it wasn't too much of a shock!" The pink haired male offered a curt chuckle as he turned toward the festival grounds. "Of course, I've never been to such a festival before, I do hope that you'll take care of me." The pink haired man turned toward the grounds, almost jumping a bit too excited to hide it even in his walk. Turning back Percy smiled toward his date. "So what is that you do? I myself run the flower shop in town."

If Caden heard those thoughts, he may as well had just died right there, cause Percy was right- Caden got flustered rather easily and can be very fun to tease. Not ALL of the time, but it wasn't a hard task. In fact, as Percy spoke more and more, the brunette himself blushed at the complimet given. Dashing? He didn't really think he was all that dressy this evening, but... "...I do?" He asked, looking kind of confused. "I didn't really think I was all that dressy tonight, but... Uh... T-thank you?" Oh boy, he was NOT used to compliments. Then this man went on with his open narcissism, the comment of 'taking care of him', asking what his occupation was... How should he respond? His outgoing personality was already a little overwhelming. Not THAT much, it's just that Caden didn't get outside much, this was literally only the second festival he's ever been to, and he's lived on the island with his brother for a while now! "This is only the second festival I've been to myself, so I'm probably not going to be much help, to be honest." He said, looking away a bit. "But, if you're that interested, I'm just a farmer." Somehow, he didn't feel all that surprised that he worked with flowers. It actually seemed to fit.

Percy curtly nodded. "Dressy or not is it clear that your fashion sense is above average, its very reliving to see that you know how to properly clothe yourself." It was hard to contain himself, Percy's little date was far cuter than anticipated, it was almost impossible not to smile. Its going t be fun finding all the ways to make Caden blush! "A farmer? How exciting! What do you farm? Animals? I'd love to come visit sometime if that would be alright!" The pink haired man dashed ahead but stopped abruptly to turn back and face his small date once more. "Though this is not the time for work talk, it is a festival after all! What would you like to do first?" The gleam in those bright blue eyes never seemed to leave. So many new things, Percy felt as if he was getting ready to explode.

Did he really look that good? Well, Percy himself seemed to have some kind of knowledge in fashion, based on how he was dressed, how perfectly groomed his hair was, and his overall attitude, as where Caden just kind of... Threw something on when he woke up. The brunette got himself a swoobat sticker as they both entered the festival grounds. "I thought it was a bit below average, but..." He mumbled quietly to himself before he shook his head and spoke louder for Percy to be able to hear, "anyway, I farm crops, my younger brother handles all the animals." At the mention of his younger brother he looked around for him to see if he was enjoying himself, but found he was nowhere in sight. Caden did stop to process the thought of him coming to visit. "...Wait- visit?" Already? "That... That's okay...! You don't have to, it's kind of a long walk anyway." Caden felt it was a little weird to invite someone he just met over to his place- though Aiden may enjoy his company more- and he seemed like quite the handful as well. By the way his eyes gleamed, Caden began to feel a little bad. He definitely didn't have so many creative ideas on what to do and couldn't even begin to show as much enthusiasm as his date, he really deserved someone more cheerful. But it wasn't like it could be changed now. Caden looked around a bit at what they could do. Games, so many games, all of which the brunette didn't know if he would be good at or not. "Uh..." He said awkwardly. "Oh! How about we get a snack and drink first?"

Ah, lots of animals? Percy had never seen any farm animals before and the chance to see them up close for once was really exciting, but then again just about anything new was exciting to him. Thats what you get when you grow up around fish and boats. "Aha, don't worry about it Caden, I suppose it was a little rude of me to invite myself to your property, Pass it as a joke m'dear!" The thought of some food sounded delightful, the aroma in the air had already started to make his mouth water, surely all of the horderves were produced locally. "Ah, grabbing a bite sounds like a good idea." Percy motioned toward his date once more and offered his hand downward. "Why not hold hands? Don't want to lose one another in the crowd." After that the pink haired male gleamed a bright smile awaiting for his hand to be taken.

Caden felt relieved that Percy didn't push the topic of coming to visit, realizing his discomfort and dropping the subject. He was trying to have a more optimistic attitude like the last festival so he didn't want to be too rude turning his offer down. Food was actually starting to sound like a really good idea, and as if on cue, his stomach growled loudly, causing him to blush a bit in embarrassment and made his way over to the snacks table. "Sorry, I uh... Haven't eaten much today." However, when Percy held his hand out, Caden found himself at a loss. Hold hands? Already? At first the brunette had to process the question and ended up spending the longest time staring at Percy's hand as if it was some sort of bizarre discovery- all while his face only seemed to redden a bit more. "Hold hands?" He repeated. Oh dear- oh dear oh dear that smile though, he was waiting on him! Should he hold it or refuse? The brunette was starting to become increasingly flustered as he contemplated what to do and how to respond but only ended up shifting in his spot. He knew that this man was his date and all, but the thought that they could be holding hands the entire time was... It was embarrassing! Not that Percy was rude or disgusting or terribly annoying... Well, not yet at least. Would people think they were a couple if they did hold hands, though? Well, there were others holding hands, so probably not, and he made a point that they could get lost in the crowds, but still. "Ah! Uh..." Caden never really came to these events, too. But... He supposed it couldn't hurt. "Well, I... Guess... We can...?" He finally replied in a bit of a confused manner, like he was asking a question.

Percy errupted into rather loud giggle as he watched Caden fret over holding hands, how adorable really! "My my, there is no need to be shy dear, it is just hand holding after all!" After gaining consent the man slapped their hands together, not enough to hurt but enough to make one jolt. Squeezing Cadens hand tight as he began a steady pace making sure that he wasn't dragging the poor boy around the whole time. "Now let us see here, it smells so good around its almost hard to pinpoint where its coming from." Lifting his head into the air as they walked a breeze seemed to be coming in now, it felt so relaxing as pink locks flowed elegantly in the wind. "What types of foods do you like most Caden? Any good suggestions perhaps?"

Frowning in further embarrassment when his date started giggling (followed by a couple grumbles under his breath that nobody could hear), Caden then flinched when Percy suddenly grabbed his hand. It didn't hurt, but it was definitely done very boldy where it could make anyone flinch, at least just a little. Now he was squeezing his hand tightly! How much friendlier could this guy get? First the bright pink hair, then the compliments, then posing and trying to show off his looks, and now hand holding? It was definitely starting to become a bit more overwhelming, considering that his face was already starting to become as red a tomato and have his fuss over things he usually didn't need to fuss over. Was this a good thing? He didn't know for sure, but what he did know was this was going to be a long night. Caden had yet to return the squeeze and simply followed alongside his date, still looking embarrassed. Not to mention it was definitely a good thing he couldn't read minds or otherwise he would've- again- died right there with how many thoughts were running through Percy's head about him being 'cute'. Arceus forbid if he spoke those thoughts aloud, he may just explode right there. "I like fruits and vegetables, but it looks like they don't have much of that around here." It seemed more like they had ice cream and combuskins on a stick, but then again, he hadn't seen too much of the festival just yet. "If you want, you can pick what you'd like to eat first, I don't mind."

Percy was about to agree on the choice of food, but as he looked truly it didn't seem like much else was around in their preferred category. The pink haired man would have been upset by this, but a sudden explosion in the nights sky had adverted his attention. At first Percy jolted he'd never really seen such a thing up close before. "Wow aren't they lovely? Of course not as lovely as me, but you can't capture pure beauty easily, wouldn't you say so Caden?" Totally forgetting about looking for food the rose locked man leapt forward pulling Caden forward as well. "Let's find somewhere nice and cozy to sit together!" One tract mind set now on finding a nice place in the grass in the directions of the fireworks. As he found a calming spot Percy promply plopped downward and patted the spot next to him. "Come, join me! Don't be shy to get cuddly now! I'd be happy to keep you warm!"

Caden had to admit that the fireworks really did light up the sky in a beautiful way. He didn't usually focus or fawn over such things, but with such a clear view and a chance to actually see it up close himself, it was amazing. Of course- this amazement didn't last long when he suddenly heard his date begin to go on about his own looks and beauty and gave him a puzzled look in response, "uh-", but didn't have time to answer clearly as Percy suddenly sat down and offered to... Wait... Cuddle!? He already was asking him to cuddle under the fireworks? Well there was no doubt about it, that would DEFINITELY make them look like a couple! "C...Cuddle- wait-" he began to stammer. Was... Was Percy making him this flustered on purpose? It was starting to feel like it, but if he was being serious... Oh dear, how to respond. He stopped his stammering and took a spot next to him, "i-it's fine, w-we don't have to cuddle." It wasn't that hot out, either, so...

It was so easy to make Caden blush and Percy absolutely loved that about anyone, of course his teasing was all on purpose, he loved making others turn red it was almost like a favorite hobby of his. "Aw are you sure about that, it is rather cold. Though if you insist we do not have to cuddle if you do not want to." Percy let his long legs sprawl out as he allowed silence to settle in for a while as he watched the beautiful display. After a few moments of silence the pink haired male turned to look toward his date, who had at least on the outside seemed more calm than a few seconds ago. With a quick spontaneous motion Percy leaned over and planted a gentle kiss upon his dates cheek. He wasn't really sure how Caden would take it and could only hope for full body blush.

Caden sighed a bit in relief as another subject he wasn't sure how to approach was dropped by the other man. At this rate the brunette was fairly sure Percy was doing all of this on purpose to make him flustered... Which was working. Oh arceus it was working and Caden hated it. He only just met this guy and he was already getting him this visibly embarrassed! It was weird, though, outside of the festivals Caden was much colder toward others but he promised his brother he would try to open up to others during festivals, at least just a little bit... Which was making it that much easier to embarrass him, since he couldn't just walk off and ignore him. Well, he could, but he wasn't going to... For whatever reason. Well, it actually wasn't that hard of a task to fluster him, considering how easily flustered and ill-tempered he normally was, but... Whatever. He had just began to relax when suddenly, Percy had made a quick move that Caden was unable to prevent, and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. He had... Kissed- DID HE JUST- That's it, Percy got what he had wished and got a FULL BLOWN, FULL BODY BLUSH as his face exploded in red and eyes widened in surprise, genuine confusion and soooo much embarrassment. "WH-" he stuttered, looking about ready to blow up himself and looked to the pink-haired individual with an expression that could only be called 'priceless'. "D-did you just-"

Percy was just about to blush himself it was hard to contain how cute the reaction was! A full body blush honestly he had hoped to see it but imagined just a full red face and silence but instead he was surprised with this, this date was far more enjoyable than Percy ever could've imagined it. Letting out a slight laugh the pink haired male offered a wink. "I'm sorry m'dear, it was just a little to hard to resist you looked so cute just now! but my my you look much cuter now Caden!" The pink haired man lifted a finger to his own lips as a smile spread across them. "Your cheek was very warm." Percy teased, as he pushed himself up from the grass offering an hand down toward his smaller date. "It seems to be rather late now. This was a lot of fun! I'm glad to have gotten paired with a cutie pie like you! Let us get together again sometime hm?"

Oh gosh Percy, you are really doing a good job at teasing him. Anyone who looked at him could tell something rather... Interesting just happened. Speaking of looking at him, Caden just so happened to see Aiden looking his way and quickly tore his gaze away. Ohhhhhh Arceus, Aiden saw. He saw and the brunette was positive he would ask about this and it was not going to pleasant. If THAT wasn't enough, right when he was about to speak again, he suddenly saw the words 'MARRY ME' light up in the sky, only making Caden's face nearly start steaming. Why. Just why. If he could kill whoever did that, he would. Then finally it happened. Percy called him cute. Twice. THREE TIMES. "Cute!?" He exclaimed and then stopped at the comment of his cheek 'being warm'. He felt so ashamed, so vulnerable, to get this way so quickly. Yes, he was officially blaming Percy and Aiden for this. Then he offered out his hand again. Holding hands... Caden finally shook his head and sighed, standing up himself. Well... It wasn't like Percy was rude or anything, but... Augh! So many fixed feelings. Sooooo many emotions right now. He looked down a bit, the blush not yet vanishing. "...I guess it is pretty late." Well, at least he hadn't failed in pleasing his date, just in a different way than he expected to. "You're definitely a lot different from what I was expecting." What was he expecting, though? He didn't know, just not this.

"Oh would you look at that, someone proposed tonight! How romantic don't you think?" Percy decided to hold off a little on the teasing after all if he went too far poor Caden might just have a meltdown, besides he had gotten what he wanted from his hobby anyhow. "Yes cute! I expected more people around here to be, well....more plain I suppose? But you've all surprised me thus far!" Percy wondered what Caden had expected of him, but held off on saying any narcissistic comments to spare Caden. "Would you like me to see you home?" Not really able to tell from his expressions alone Percy just hoped he hadn't upset Caden.

It was probably for the best that Percy held off on all the teasing now, cause chances were Caden would indeed have a meltdown right there if he went on. He looked up a bit bitterly at the 'marry me' fireworks before finally exhaling to calm himself down. Yes, calm down boy, it's not that big of a deal. So what a boy you just met kissed you and called you cute? Not that big of a deal. He closed his eyes as the redness on his face seem to vanish a little bit and opened his eyes again to look at his date. "Y-yeah, it is pretty romantic." And now back to awkwardness. "Someone could've done that to tease the couples here at the festival, though." If that's the case then that also did a very good job at teasing him. "We have? Well, I'm... Glad, then. You definitely seem to be enjoying yourself." He rubbed the back on his neck and pondered his offer. Well... Aiden would probably want to walk home with him, and if Percy came along, that... Might just lead to Aiden getting to tease him along with the pink-haired man. The bruentte almost shuddered at the thought. "I think I should be fine on my own- my brother is waiting for me, but thank you for the offer. I'll see you later, then." With that, Caden turned and waved goodbye to Percy, heading closer to Aiden.
